Christmas markets Singapore 2026: dates, venues and entry

Three Christmas markets in Singapore have confirmed 2026 dates on pages we opened on 26 October 2026: The Christmas Atelier at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 November, Christmas Together at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November, and Design Assembly's Christmas market at CHIJMES Hall on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 December. The Christmas Atelier sells tickets, Christmas Together asks visitors to pre-register for free, and Design Assembly's entry terms could not be checked.

Togetherland by World Christmas Market, held at the Bayfront Event Space last year, had no 2026 announcement in the Urban Redevelopment Authority's (URA) latest releases. Below: what each market has confirmed, which suits which errand, and a shopping timeline to Christmas Day.

Which Christmas markets in Singapore have 2026 dates?

The Christmas Atelier (12 to 14 November). The organiser's page calls this its 8th edition and says the fair has grown from 8 brands at its launch in 2019; this year it lists 130 artisanal brands. The theme is "Delivering Christmas Magic", with nostalgic trains and hot air balloons in the décor, festive food and drink, and installations for photos. It is curated by The Atelier & Co. The first day opens later, at 1pm. The page refers to "ticket holders" and links to a separate tickets page, which we could not open, so no price is given here.

Christmas Together (27 to 29 November). Published on the Sustainable Markets SG site and building on that group's earlier Christmas markets, it describes itself as a Christmas village "in support of Singapore Red Cross Young Hearts". Its homepage says half of Christmas Together is devoted to markets, with 150 brands across gifting, fashion, beauty, home, food and artisan-made pieces, alongside 18 "signature experiences" such as Kindness Bear House and Santa's Post Office. The Singapore Tourism Board's (STB) Visit Singapore listing adds 70,000 sq ft, 50 live performances and 40 workshops. "Register free", the page says; it states no admission price, but notes that "different experiences and purchases have different giving arrangements", so expect some activities to involve a donation or a fee.

Design Assembly Christmas Market (2 and 3 December). Visit Singapore lists it on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 December 2026 at CHIJMES Hall, with more than 45 independent makers in fashion, jewellery, art, homewares and fine foods. The organiser's site could not be opened from our environment, so its hours and whether entry is free are not confirmed.

Is Togetherland on in 2026?

Not announced yet. URA's release of 27 November 2025, "Kickstart the New Year festivities with the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2026", said Togetherland by World Christmas Market would run from 11 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 at the 20,000 square metre Bayfront Event Space. On 26 October 2026 URA's media release list showed ten releases from 4 September to 23 October, none about a 2026 countdown or Togetherland. Last year's release came out in late November, so look again then (our inference, not a promise).

Which market suits your errand?

• For an early start on the list, or a weekday afternoon: The Christmas Atelier. It opens at 1pm on a Thursday, about six weeks before Christmas, and the organiser describes its brands as Singapore artisanal names. You pay to enter, so plan the visit.
• For a family day with activities: Christmas Together. It runs across a full weekend with workshops, performances and hands-on experiences; the page suggests personalising a bear or writing a Christmas letter. Budget for the fact that giving is part of the design: the page says arrangements differ by experience and purchase.
• For a midweek browse in the Civic District: Design Assembly at CHIJMES, a smaller market of more than 45 makers on a Wednesday and Thursday. Its hours were not published where we looked, so confirm them before planning an after-work visit.
• For a gift of art: the Visit Singapore listing also shows the Affordable Art Fair at the F1 Pit Building from 26 to 29 November, with more than 95 galleries and artworks all priced below S$15,000. It overlaps with Christmas Together's weekend, so the two could share one weekend out.

A gift-shopping timeline to Christmas Day

Christmas Day falls on Friday 25 December 2026, which makes Friday to Sunday a long weekend, and Thursday 24 December is the last weekday before it. Working back from that:

1. By Monday 2 November: agree the budget and who you are buying for. For an office or family gift exchange, draw names now with our Secret Santa generator, so people shop with a name in mind. Check The Christmas Atelier's ticket price.
2. Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 November: The Christmas Atelier.
3. Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November: Christmas Together, the same weekend as the Affordable Art Fair.
4. Late November: check URA's releases for any Togetherland or countdown announcement.
5. Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 December: Design Assembly at CHIJMES, leaving three weeks for anything still missing.

An illustrative example, with invented people: an office team of 12 agrees a S$20 ceiling, draws names on 2 November, and agrees to swap gifts on Wednesday 23 December, the day before Christmas Eve, because several colleagues are taking leave on the 24th. Half the team buys at The Christmas Atelier's Thursday opening; the rest plan to visit Design Assembly on 2 or 3 December once its hours are published. The figure and dates are examples, not advice on what to spend.

What to check before you go

• The organiser's own page names 2026. A listing that shows last year's dates is not an announcement.
• Entry terms: a ticket (The Christmas Atelier), free pre-registration (Christmas Together) or not yet confirmed (Design Assembly).
• Which hall: the two Marina Bay Sands markets use different halls (C and F).
